Dr. Hayward has his PhD in Education, a Master's degree in English, and a graduate degree in teaching reading and writing. Dr. Hayward tutors all of the English Language Arts students. He also leads a team of 10 other tutors who instruct students in all other subjects including math and the sciences. His staff includes medical school students, college students, and professional teachers.
Established in 2010, this group of tutors firmly believes that "no one cares how much we know until they know how much we care."
We start off with a FREE evaluation performed by Dr. Hayward. A syllabus is then completed for the tutor to follow. Weekly or biweekly status reports are sent out to update you regarding progress.
Amber is a seasoned reading and dyslexia specialist, specializing in LiPS and various Orton Gillingham based interventions. With a master's degree in reading and a certification as a reading specialist, she is committed to supporting individuals of all ages who struggle with reading. Her passion lies in narrowing the achievement gaps they face, ensuring every learner reaches their full potential. Amber has taken students who were reading a full grade below level and brought them to a full grade above level in just 8 months!
Lesley is a student at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She studies political science and economics with a focus on political theory. In her free time, Lesley enjoys practicing Kendo, a Japanese form of fencing. She had a near perfect score on the SAT and helps prepare students for college. She is wonderful!
Sabrina is a high school math teacher, teaching at all grade levels. She takes the difficult and makes it easier to understand. She has a master's degree in math and is loved by all our students!
Himani started with us as a student student studying for her SAT. Today we are proud to say she is in medical school! She specializes in the sciences but also pitches in with math!
Sam is the newest addition to our family. He is a college English professor and specializes in Literature. He helps our students with AP Literature, understanding Shakespeare, and diving into the classics.

In most cases twice per week is best. If a student is part of our homework review program then perhaps once per week is enough. However, if big tests are coming up then three times a week may yield the best results.
